History
The Richard Jones Foundation is a charitable trust established from the will of Richard Jones. About 338 years ago, Richard Jones left £300 in trust for his executors in his will dated 17th August 1688." to establish such perpetual charitable uses as they should judge fit and convenient"For a time the Richard Jones Foundation helped apprentices to buy tools.
These days we award grants to young persons who need help to buy equipment, instruments, books, fund educational trips or anything else in order to achieve their potential/aspirations. A more detailed history of the foundation can be found here.

Street Collection
On Saturday, 25th April 2026, our Foundation Team hit the streets of Royal Wootton Bassett to rally support for our town's young people. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible £335.01. A huge shout-out to everyone who chipped in, your kindness makes a real difference!
